Capture
Lead management software
Every enquiry down, decided on and followed up. None of them on a sticky note.
- Three things to capture an enquiry
- Qualify or park with a date
- One next action per lead
- Overdue, Today, Tomorrow, This week, Later
- CSV import with duplicate checks

The problem, then the record
Three ways enquiries go missing
- 01On a spreadsheet
The phone rings on a job. The number goes on the back of a receipt and the receipt goes in the van.
With jobwinNew enquiry on the phone: a name, a number and what they need. If the number is already on file, it links to that customer by itself.
- 02On a spreadsheet
Every enquiry goes straight on the list, so the list fills with tyre-kickers and nobody trusts the totals.
With jobwinNew leads wait for a decision. Qualify one and it joins the pipeline and the forecast; park one as not interested with a date to try again.
- 03On a spreadsheet
A lead gets a call, then nothing, because nobody wrote down what was supposed to happen next.
With jobwinEvery open lead has one next action with a date. Ticking it off asks what is next, so a lead is never left with nothing planned.
New enquiry
Captured while they are still on the phone
The New enquiry button is on every screen, and a plus button on a phone. It needs a contact name, a phone number or email, and what they need. Company, address, lead source, estimated value, tags and priority can wait behind “Add company, address, source & more”.
- Under 15 secondsThe app’s own promise on its Home screen: “Phone ringing? Capture it in under 15 seconds.”
- Linked to the customerA phone number or email that matches an existing customer links the enquiry to them.
- Scan a business cardPoint the camera at a card’s QR code and the contact fills itself in.

Leads
Decide which enquiries are worth chasing
New leads sit in their own view until someone looks at them: “Is this one worth chasing?” Qualify it to the pipeline, or mark it not interested with a reason and a call-back in 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, on a date, or never. The Leads list has saved views for everything else.
- Ten saved viewsNew leads, In pipeline, Due to chase, Quotes >7 days, Stale leads, My leads, Not interested, Won, Lost and Archived.
- Your own columnsPick the columns, save the view, and make it the one you sign in to.
- Bulk actions and exportAssign, move, tag, archive or export a selection to CSV.

To-do
One next action per lead, listed by day
Every new lead starts with “Make first contact”, due now. Each next action has a date, and To-do lists them all in five tabs: Overdue, Today, Tomorrow, This week and Later, with case deadlines and call-backs beside them. Done asks “What’s next?” before it closes.
- Mark done or snoozeTick it off, or snooze it to tomorrow, from the list itself.
- Come back toLeads lost for timing wait in Later with a Re-open button on the day.
- Nothing overdue unseenThe bell counts overdue follow-ups and cases, and opens To-do.

Where this record goes next
Every part of jobwin writes to the same record, so what happens here shows up in these.
Honest limits
Lead management, precisely
A new enquiry needs three things: a name, a phone number or email, and what they need. The form shows five boxes because the office number, the mobile and the email are separate; any one of them will do.
Imported leads land in New leads, not in the pipeline, so they get the same decision as a phone enquiry. Import takes CSV files; an Excel workbook needs saving as CSV first.
The business card scanner reads QR codes (vCard and MeCard) from the camera. It does not read the printed text on a card.
